We are an indie studio in Jönköping with big ambitions and a true passion for games. We are working on an exciting new game based on an exclusive IP and are now looking for new employees to join our team. The role

Pigs Will Fly is seeking an experienced System Administrator to support the backbone of our game studio development infrastructure. From deploying scalable cloud and on-site environments to automating workflows and maintaining secure, version controlled and high-performance systems, you’ll play a key role in keeping our game studios development running at full speed. You’ll work alongside artists and developers,in a collaborative and fast-paced environment where stability, uptime, and innovation are everything. If you’re excited about combining your love for tech with a love for games, this is your next mission.

 

What you'll do

  • Handle security, server setup, upkeep, and administration tasks.

  • Configure and manage identity and access management solutions.

  • Provide general desktop and user support.

  • Help users with everyday IT-related questions and issues.

  • Set up accounts and devices for new staff and contractors.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot new workstations and user profiles.

  • Manage and maintain our version control platform Perforce.

  • Oversee and support infrastructure hosted on AWS.

  • Oversee and support infrastructure hosted on Google Works

  • Champion and oversee operations security by analyzing and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.

  • Setup and oversee Active Directory Domain Services.

  • Prevent data loss via backups and minimize internal service interruption.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system rollout, support, and issue resolution.


Required qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a System Administrator position or similar role.

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in IT, system administration, or a related field.

  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in your area and stay up to date with new technologies and best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of administering and supporting Windows, Mac and Linux environments.

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken

  • As a person - you are proactive, flexible and organized, you enjoy collaborating with others

Location: Jönköping. (We have a four days at the office, one day working from home, per week, policy.)

Start: ASAP autumn 2025

Form of Employment: We offer you a part time position that might turn into a full time position in time. It starts with a probationary period. We are also open for freelance and other alternatives.
