We are looking for an experienced and analytical Development Engineer who wants to contribute to the development of future driveline systems and components within the automotive industry.
At Gnutti Carlo Sweden AB, you will become part of a highly skilled and engaged development team, working with both the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing solutions.
The role involves close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and colleagues – both locally and globally within the group. Our products are characterized by a high level of technical complexity, and development work spans areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, tribology, reliability, and fatigue strength.
As a Development Engineer, you will play a key role in dimensioning, analyzing, and developing functionality and performance for next-generation driveline products.
Key responsibilities
Perform FE analysis and fatigue calculations for dimensioning driveline components
Conduct dynamic 1D simulations to analyze and optimize system functionality and performance
Participate in the development of new products as well as improvement of existing products
Contribute to technical projects in close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Support the strengthening of Gnutti’s competence within the driveline area
Contribute to the development of new product areas and technical solutions
The scope of the role can be adapted depending on your experience and competence profile.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education, combined with relevant experience in product development.
Requirements
MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in product development with a focus on FE analysis and simulation
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Meritorious
Experience in FE analysis and dynamic 1D simulation within powertrain products
Experience with development tools such as ANSYS, GT-Suite, MATLAB, Creo, or Catia
Experience in design and testing

Employment
This is a full-time, permanent position, with start date according to agreement.
