HEAD OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Axiell is looking for a strategic and visionary leader to take on the role of Head of Software Development – a key position responsible for leading multiple development managers across Axiell’s diverse product portfolio, spanning both modern SaaS/PaaS solutions and established legacy systems.

You’ll collaborate closely with the CIO and senior stakeholders, ensuring your impact is felt across both technology and the broader business.

What you’ll be doing  

💼 As Head of Software Development at Axiell, you’ll take the lead in shaping the future of our technology landscape. You’ll guide and inspire development managers across key product areas like LXM, CXM, Common Discovery, and legacy platforms—driving innovation, modernization, and collaboration. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll define and execute long-term strategies that strengthen Axiell’s position as a global SaaS and PaaS provider. 

You’ll oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud solutions in Azure or AWS, ensuring best practices in CI/CD, observability, and cost efficiency. With a strong focus on DevOps and DevSecOps excellence, you’ll embed security, compliance, and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle. 

Collaboration is key—you’ll work hand in hand with IT, Product Management, QA, UX, and Infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions that power institutions around the world. 

🗂️Your Profile 

• Proven experience managing managers and leading multi-team software organizations. 

• Demonstrated success in change management and organizational transformation, including restructuring and technology adoption. 

• Deep understanding of agile methodologies, legacy system management, and platform/cloud architecture. 

• Hands-on experience with SaaS/PaaS development on platforms such as Azure or AWS. 

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

• Familiarity with Axiell’s product and technology landscape is an advantage.
