WORK DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Professional Services to lead our professional services team in North America (Toronto or Vancouver). You will serve as a member of the management team and oversee a portfolio of project managers and consultants, including oversight of ~80 concurrently running projects. This role includes guiding service delivery, maintaining adherence to project timelines and budgets, and serving as a liaison between Axiell and current and future clients throughout the customer life cycle. The ideal candidate should be result-oriented, possess outstanding customer facing skills, and have a proven track record as a Professional Services Leader.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professional services project managers and consultants, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with Axiell services.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs for internal staff, ensuring they are proficient in Axiell’s professional services methodology.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve professional services processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on project status, team performance, and client satisfaction to senior management.
ABOUT YOU
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional services, project management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Feedback Loop: Having established a feedback loop with clients to gather insights and continuously improve our services and software.
Market Trends: Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure our services remain competitive and innovative.
Budget Management: Having developed and managed a professional services budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.
Strategic Planning: Having contributed to a strategic plan and growth initiatives, aligning professional services with overall business goals.
