WORK DESCRIPTION 

Are you the one we are looking for? A highly skilled and experienced Network Architect specializing in Cisco technologies for data centers, Cisco Meraki for office environments as well as AWS and Microsoft Azure for cloud solutions.  

You have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures that enhance performance, security, and scalability. Possesses strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software. Committed to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure optimal network operations. 

May require after-hours support and availability during emergencies or critical situations.   

ABOUT THE ROLE  

• Design and Development: Create comprehensive network architectures. Design, develop and implement network architecture and infrastructure for our data centers, office networks as well as AWS and Azure 

• Implementation: Oversee the deployment and configuration of network hardware and software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. 

• Optimization: Continuously monitor, analyse, and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and efficiency. 

• Security: Develop and implement robust security protocols to protect against emerging threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. 

• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and processes. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with business objectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to network engineers and other IT operations staff.  

• Innovation: Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and recommend solutions to drive innovation forward

You are detail-oriented, organized and have a desire to continuously learn and improve your skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with leading and monitoring multiple projects from conception to completion.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 

Technical skills 

• Proficiency in network design and architecture tools, with a focus on Cisco Meraki and Microsoft Azure. 

• Extensive knowledge of network solutions, including IP/DNS/PKI/Certificate architecture and infrastructure as well as hybrid cloud environments. 

• Experience with network security principles and practices, particularly in hybrid cloud environments.
