We are strengthening our global Patient Safety team at the headquarters in Lund by recruiting a Patient Safety Physician with broad clinical knowledge, ideally in endocrine diseases or dependency.
You will work with committed colleagues close to both commercialised products and development projects. Camurus is a rapidly growing and innovative company, and you will have a strong impact on the activities in the Patient Safety department.
As a member of our team, you will actively contribute to shaping internal processes and participate in cross-functional collaborations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best industry practices.
You will report to the Director of Patient Safety.
The role:
Being a Safety Physician, you are committed to ensure patients’ safety and product quality across the Camurus products. You will first and foremost ensure a compliant Pharmacovigilance System for safety surveillance of Camurus products.
Your other responsibilities will include:
Reviewing spontaneous, clinical, and aggregate safety cases, including causality, expectedness, and coding
Serving as Safety Physician for clinical development projects
Assessing the clinical implications of safety data to establish product safety profiles and plans
Contributing to benefit-risk assessments of medicinal products
Supporting the QPPV with medical input
Helping develop Camurus’ Pharmacovigilance System
Your profile:
We seek an MD with at least 5 years of either clinical experience, or experience from a similar role in Drug- or Patient Safety/Pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. A background in endocrinology or dependence is an advantage. We also value experience with ICSR/SAE processing and clinical trials.
The role requires commitment, quality focus, ownership, collaboration, and strong project management abilities. To be successful in this role you are solution-oriented and pragmatic.
