PRODUCT CONSULTANT - SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION

WORK DESCRIPTION

You as a Product Consultant - Software Implementation within the Axiell ALM Project Delivery team, will play a crucial role. Your primary responsibility will be to work with customers to enable them to get the best use out of our Product Portfolio. You will work with new and existing customers to configure and deliver the products and meet their business needs including data migration consultancy, general consultancy, installation, configuration, training, and testing.

You will increase overall customer satisfaction by providing quality service and support!

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Develop an excellent in-depth knowledge of the Axiell ALM Product Set; know the configuration requirements of all the products and the limitations.

  • Provide consultancy to customers on data migration, including analysis, mappings, and specifications.

  • Deliver developments and configurations of web related products.

  • Work closely with the Axiell Project Managers to plan, schedule, and execute the work assigned.

  • Carry out any QA testing as may be required to ensure product quality.

  • Work with the Development team, providing feedback on products and customer wish lists.

  • Be able to recognise Request for Enhancements and ensure they are clearly categorised and documented.

  • To monitor scope of a project and ensure that out-of-scope requests are raised with the Project Manager.

  • Always contribute to the building and maintenance of strong customer relationships and satisfaction by provision of clear and frequent communication, including throughout any project lifecycle.

  • Attend review/project meetings (stand-ups, allocation sessions, catch-ups).

ABOUT YOU

You are a problem-solving team player with a great attitude to life and excellent social skills. You have a willingness and ability to plan, priorities, and influence the team with your ideas and solutions. You are comfortable working with technology and can gain a good understanding of software configurations. You are self-motivated and resourceful, willing to take ownership of challenging situations.

Essential skills

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a demanding project delivery and/or data/collections management environment ideally within a software company.

  • You are comfortable working with technology and can gain a good understanding of software configurations.

  • Exposure to data migration work and associated technology.

  • Ability to prioritise & manage own workload and adjust to changing priorities.

  • Well organised and able to meet deadlines.

  • You have excellent customer facing skills and experience.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Problem solver, with a structured, methodological approach.

  • Self-motivated and resourceful, willing to take ownership of challenging situations.

  • Great team player, but also capable of independent working.

  • Must be fluent in English, written and oral. 

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with/studying the archive, museum or library sector would also be advantageous but not essential.

  • Familiar with Agile project management methods.

  • Any experience/knowledge of Javascript, C#, HTML, CSS, SQL server, Windows Active Directory or other database technologies or programming languages.

  • Database Modelling

  • Verbal and written communication skills in German or Dutch.
