SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTIST – ANALYTICAL DEVELOPMENT

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Scientist with a strong background in analytical chemistry to join our Pharmaceutical Development team. This is a key role for someone passionate about advancing drug delivery technologies and contributing to the development of long-acting release products. This is the chance to work on cutting-edge pharmaceutical technologies, reporting to our Director Pharmaceutical Development.

The role:

• Lead and execute analytical development activities for pharmaceutical formulations

• Design and perform advanced chromatographic analyses

• Development and characterization of in vitro release (IVR) testing methods for long-acting formulations

• Collaborate cross-functionally in project teams including formulation, pre-clinical and clinical development expertise as well as regulatory affairs and manufacturing operations specialists

• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment

• Communicate findings effectively through reports, presentations, and peer discussions

Your profile:

We are looking for a senior candidate with at least 5 years of experience in analytical chemistry within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry and strong knowledge of drug development processes. You have a master’s degree in chemistry or a related field, a Ph.D. is preferred. Your profile also include:

• Proven expertise in chromatographic methods for characterization of pharmaceuticals

• Experience with development of in vitro release (IVR) methods for pharmaceutical products is highly desirable

• Experience with mass spectrometry (MS) for structure elucidation of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients is an advantage

• A strong self-driven personality as well as strong communication skills (English), both oral and written

• Ability to mentor peers and contribute to team development
