ABOUT THE ROLE
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions that support our new and existing customers needs and Axiell's overall business goals.
You will report to our Product Manager- Axiell ALM.
ABOUT YOU
You are a socially skilled individual who is passionate about technology and solutions oriented. You should have a strong technical background and the ability to work with both internal teams and external clients to deliver exceptional solutions.
Essential Skills:
You have..
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Proven development skills and experiences with full stack programming languages
Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages would be viewed favourably: Go (Golang), C, C++, C#, HTML5 or CSS
Familiarity with one or more of the following scripting languages would be viewed favourably: Perl, TypeScript and JavaScript
Experience developing component-based systems and interfaces
Knowledge of RESTful APIs
Experience converting abstract requirements to reliable system design
Quality Assurance prior to delivery to customers
Excellent communication skills in English both in written and oral
Preferred Qualification:
The ability to learn about and understand museum Collections Management Systems
Experience with software development processes, methodologies, and tools – any experience with Object Oriented Software Design and/or Functional Programming is a bonus.
