SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER- AXIELL ALM

ABOUT THE ROLE

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions that support our new and existing customers needs and Axiell's overall business goals.

You will report to our Product Manager- Axiell ALM.

ABOUT YOU

You are a socially skilled individual who is passionate about technology and solutions oriented. You should have a strong technical background and the ability to work with both internal teams and external clients to deliver exceptional solutions.

Essential Skills:

You have..

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Proven development skills and experiences with full stack programming languages

• Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages would be viewed favourably: Go (Golang), C, C++, C#, HTML5 or CSS

• Familiarity with one or more of the following scripting languages would be viewed favourably: Perl, TypeScript and JavaScript

• Experience developing component-based systems and interfaces

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs

• Experience converting abstract requirements to reliable system design

• Quality Assurance prior to delivery to customers

• Excellent communication skills in English both in written and oral

Preferred Qualification:

• The ability to learn about and understand museum Collections Management Systems

• Experience with software development processes, methodologies, and tools – any experience with Object Oriented Software Design and/or Functional Programming is a bonus.
