We’re Hiring: Support Engineer – North America

What you’ll do
As our Support Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers — ensuring they get quick, accurate and friendly support.
You will:
• Monitor and manage customer issues in Jira or Azure DevOps
• Communicate with customers to understand and resolve technical issues
• Test fixes and deployments for smooth functionality
• Improve support processes and available tools
• Manage Jira/DevOps queues and document cases
• Coordinate with Product Development and QA
• Provide clear, timely updates to customers and stakeholders
• Work in a hybrid setup
You’ll report to the Customer Support Manager for Axiell ALM North America.
Who you are
You’re proactive, positive and solution‑oriented, with a genuine interest in helping others.
You communicate clearly, enjoy teamwork, and can also work independently when needed. You’re structured, detail‑oriented, and always eager to learn.
Your background likely includes:
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar technical support role
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Knowledge of C++, Java, Perl, Python
• Experience with React‑based frameworks, Jetty, JavaScript, HTML, XSL
• Familiarity with IDEs (Eclipse, VS Code)
• Version control tools (Git, CVS)
• Working with Jira, DevOps or similar systems

Location Flexibility
We’re flexible regarding where this role can be based. Our primary locations for the position are Montreal and Fredericton, but we also welcome applicants from other eligible areas, including Toronto, Vancouver, St. John’s, Halifax, Charlottetown, Quebec City, Winnipeg, Regina, and Whitehorse.
